The Seller Disclosure form is a document in which sellers answer, to the best of their knowledge, a series of questions about the condition of the home and disclose any known defects.
It is important for any seller to go through this form carefully and consider each question before answering. It is also important for the buyer to review this document and ask any questions about items that may be of concern.
There are very few exceptions that allow a Seller to be exempt form completing this form. Be sure to consult with you agent or an attorney should you feel that you do not want to complete the Seller Disclosure (Form 17).
